this has been the best holiday i have ever had. the location is a dream, every fantasy about the maldives is achieved here with its beauty and amazing weather. stepping out from our beach villa every morning was good. the reef is perfect for beginners with lots of shallow waters to see the sea life.

after a long flight, the connection from the airport to the hotel took 4 hours, involving a 3-hour wait in the food court. the domestic flight was booked for 3 hours later at 5:00 pm. after a 30-minute flight, i had to get into a bus and travel on a speedboat for 15-20 minutes.

the beach villa included direct access to our own stretch of beach. sun loungers were also available for use. there were water, drinks, snacks, tea and coffee available in the room. it was stocked daily. the villa itself was well presented and very clean.

the island boasts lush green territory with well-kept gardens and towering treeswith ample shade and a serene atmosphere. another island was close by. but it was a bit irritatingly bright at night. the island is quite small.

every member of staff is a credit to the hotel, from cleaners to gardeners, waiters and bar staff. they all seemed determined to keep a smile on your face with lovely greetings whenever they see you. the high staffing numbers mean they are encouraged to make conversation.

the staff was kind and caring. i felt welcomed from arrival until departure. a special thank you goes to the entire team. every member contributed to an lovely experience.

the island is small, circling it, you see only a few meters of sand between bungalow and water. there isn't much room to spread a towel. this wasn't necessary though, since i had a beach front bungalow.

the staff were friendly. they were always willing to help. the room was clean, spacious. breakfast had plenty of variety. the location is perfect and very close to the beach. the pool and room service were nice.

i didn't like the general management and the way they treat guests. once you're there you can't leave, even though there's boats going to and from a nearby island daily. they refuse to allow you to go and essentially hold you hostage there saying it's for your 'safety'.
